Day 1
Namblong Rainforest trekking & Blue River Genyem
Start your day with a walk into the lowland forest of Nimbokrang for approximately 3–4 hours. Along the trek, you may see endemic plants, butterflies, and various bird species. If you’re lucky, you might spot the Lesser Bird-of-Paradise. On the way back, we will stop in the middle of the forest for a short break. Our team will assist you at several steep sections and when crossing small streams. After the trek, enjoy lunch and a short rest at the lodge. After trekking, enjoy a short break before continuing to the Blue River (Kali Biru Genyem). Relax in the clear water, go for a swim, or try bamboo rafting. The tour lasts around 6 hours. The tour ends with a transfer back to Isyo Lodge Papua.
