Day 1
Namblong Village & Blue River (Genyem)
Begin with a 20-minute drive from Isyo Lodge Papua to Genyem, a small town that serves as the gateway to the Namblong community. From there, enjoy a light trek to a remote mountain village. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the local community and introduced to their traditions, customs, and daily way of life. Spend the day in village life, taking part in activities such as visiting forest gardens, swimming in the river, gathering food, and preparing meals together. Enjoy a simple traditional lunch before continuing to Blue River (Kali Biru Genyem), where you can relax, swim, or try bamboo rafting.
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and your camera to capture the authentic local life. The excursion lasts approximately 6 hours.
