Day 1

Arrival in Biak

Upon your arrival at Biak Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation. After check-in, the rest of the day is free at leisure to relax and recover from your journey.

You may enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Biak, a quiet island known for its relaxed coastal lifestyle. Spend time by the pool or take a gentle walk around the surrounding area to experience the local environment.

Day 2

Full day tour

Today we explore the historical highlights of Biak. The Battle of Biak took place in 1944 during World War II between the United States and the Japanese Army, with thousands of lives lost on the island.

 

We will visit a Japanese cave used as a wartime shelter, followed by a small museum displaying World War II relics and historical items. If time permits, we may also visit a nearby waterfall before continuing to one of Biak’s beautiful and quiet beaches for relaxation and swimming.

Day 3

Full day Tour

After breakfast, we travel to the coastal area where we will board a local boat to explore the nearby islands. Discover crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and white sandy beaches surrounded by tropical scenery. A picnic-style lunch will be served on the beach. There will also be an opportunity to explore historical remnants from World War II found on one of the islands, including an old airstrip used during the Allied campaign.

 

In the late afternoon, return by boat to the mainland and transfer back to your accommodation.
