- While photographing landscapes is encouraged, please be respectful when taking photos of local people. Some may feel uncomfortable or believe photos capture their spirit. Always ask permission through your guide, and a small tip is appreciated.

Detail Itinerary
Day 1
Sentani Lake Tour
On arrival, explore the surroundings of Lake Sentani, a vast lake dotted with small islands and traditional villages. There is a possibility to take a boat ride to observe local life, depending on arrival time. After lunch, continue with a direct transfer to Nimbokrang, a lowland rainforest area known for birdwatching.

Day 2
Birdwatching & Visiting Blue River
After breakfast, continue with an early morning guided birdwatching excursion in Nimbokrang. The area is especially known for birds-of-paradise, including species such as the Twelve-wired Bird-of-Paradise, Lesser Bird-of-Paradise, King Bird-of-Paradise, and Pale-billed Sicklebill. We may also see Blyth’s Hornbill, Brown- and Black-capped Lories, Lowland Peltops, Buff-faced Pygmy Parrot, Brown-headed Crow, and more. On our way back to the lodge, we will take a break at the highest hill in the forest, where you can watch birds in flight. After birdwatching, enjoy lunch and a short break before continuing to the beautiful Blue River (Kali Biru Genyem). Relax in the clear water, go for a swim, or try bamboo rafting. The tour ends with a transfer back to your accommodation.

Birdwatching Bird-of-Paradise
Day 3
Full day in Namblong Village
After breakfast, drive approximately 20 minutes from your accommodation to the Namblong tribal area. Continue with a light trek of approximately 1 km to reach the remote Namblong village, home to about 100 people. Interact with the local community and visit a unique treehouse built around a centuries-old tree. Enjoy a simple traditional lunch and learn about the community, their traditions, and daily life. This is a great opportunity to engage, observe, and gain insight into their unique culture. After Village Tour, enjoy lunch and a short break before continuing to the beautiful Blue River (Kali Biru Genyem). Relax in the clear water, go for a swim, or try bamboo rafting. The tour ends with a transfer Sentani.

Namblong Village
Day 4
Transfer to Airport or Jayapura
After breakfast, transfer to Airport/Jayapura. End of Services.
