Detail Itinerary
Day 1
Namblong Village
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Sentani and transfer you to Genyem, home to the Namblong tribal community. From there, enjoy a light trek to reach the remote village. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and introduced to the community, their traditions, customs, and daily way of life. Spend the day immersing yourself in village life, joining activities such as visiting forest gardens, swimming in the river, gathering food, and preparing meals together. In the afternoon, learn about traditional medicine, noken weaving, and the community’s connection to the forest. This experience offers a chance to interact with villagers and understand their culture. Overnight in a simple villager house alongside the local community.
A villager house is a simple homestay owned by tribal elders. Accommodation is basic, with thin mattresses on the floor and mosquito nets provided.

Day 2
Namblong Rainforest
Walk through the village and visit the garden of the community. Continue trekking into the protected Namblong Forest, passing through lowland rainforest rich in native plants and wildlife. Along the way, your guide will explain the local flora, fauna, medicinal plants, and the history of the forest. After crossing several small rivers and streams, arrive at the forest camp. Relax by the river while the team prepares meals. In the afternoon, enjoy wildlife observation, cultural activities, survival skills training, and forest exploration. After dinner, relax around a campfire or join an optional night trek. Overnight in a simple tent in the rainforest.
A Forest Camp is a traditional forest camp where the Namblong community hunts, cultivates gardens, and stays while living in the forest (with sleeping mats and mosquito nets provided).

Day 3
Nimbokrang
After breakfast, continue your journey from the forest campsite to Isyo Lodge. Along the trek, you may see endemic plants, butterflies, and various bird species, and if you are lucky, the Lesser Bird-of-Paradise. The trek includes short breaks in the forest, and our team will assist you on steep sections and river crossings. Arrive at the lodge and stay overnight.

Day 4
Blue River Genyem
After breakfast, continue to the Blue River (Kali Biru Genyem) where you can relax, swim, or try bamboo rafting. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and your camera to capture the beautiful scenery. After lunch, transfer to Sentani. End of Services.
