Today is a very special day! After breakfast, we will prepare to join the pig feast held in the traditional Dani village. Many decorated Dani people participate in this festival. The pig feast with hot stones and a dirt pit is probably the most interesting part of the trip to New Guinea. It is hard to explain exactly what is unique about this festival because there are so many things going on at once. You have to see and experience it for yourself.
